A scanned document came out with pages in the wrong order, a few upside down and a blank page in the middle. Fixing that with separate tools means three passes and three downloads. Organize PDF shows a preview of every page so you can reorder, rotate and delete them in one go, directly in your browser.
If you only need one of those changes, Rotate PDF and Remove Pages are a little quicker. To combine several files, start with Merge PDF, then organize the result.
Step-by-step
- Open the Organize PDF tool, or click its card on the home page.
- Click the drop zone or drag in your PDF. A thumbnail of every page appears.
- Drag pages to put them in order. On a phone, or if you prefer buttons, use "Move earlier" and "Move later" under each page.
- Use "Rotate right" on a page to turn it 90 degrees, or "Rotate all left" and "Rotate all right" for the whole document.
- Use "Delete page" to remove a page. At least one page has to remain. "Reset" brings back the original order, rotation and pages.
- Click "Process now." Your browser downloads organized.pdf with the pages in the order shown.
Common mistakes
- Deleting a page by accident. Check the page labels before processing; if something went wrong, "Reset" starts over.
- Organizing each file separately before merging. Merge first with Merge PDF, then organize the combined file once.
- Missing pages further down. Long documents show many thumbnails; scroll through all of them.
- Expecting bookmarks to survive. The new file keeps every page's content, but the original bookmarks aren't carried over.

Does organizing keep text selectable and the original quality?
Yes. Pages are copied as they are, and rotation only changes each page's orientation setting. Nothing is re-rendered as an image.
How is it different from Rotate PDF and Remove Pages?
Organize PDF combines both, plus reordering, in one screen. Rotate PDF and Remove Pages are quicker when you only need that one change.
Is my file uploaded to organize it?
No. Previews and the final PDF are created in your browser with pdf.js and pdf-lib, and the file never leaves your device.
